About Us

Since its founding in 2000 as a web design franchising opportunity for aspiring web developers, Pacific Design Guild has been focusing on making others successful. Today, we are no longer the web development firm we once were and we are much more!

Soon after we started, we found that we were spending most our time assisting our web developers acquire new clients. Within a year, we scrapped our original business model and focused entirely on Internet marketing.  We still continue to support our legacy clients and enjoy working with hundreds of web developers and designers.

Now with over four years of search engine marketing experience, web design, and Internet network consulting, Pacific Design Guild is unique positioned to increase our client's online revenues though our extensive advertising relationships and wealth of consulting experience. In fact, we are so confident in our ability to deliver bottom line results that most of our services guarantee that we will exceed our customers' expectations!

Ethical business practices are part of our core principles. The Internet advertising, and in particular the search engine optimization industry, can be difficult to navigate because of the lack of any regulation, formal training or licensing. We want to assure you that when you are working with Pacific Design Guild, you are working with the best - and - you are working with a Company you can respect.

In September of 2003, Pacific Design Guild was acquired and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of T1 Shopper, Inc., a California Corporation. The acquisition has been a very positive move for us since it gave us access to more resources and capital. We continue to provide superior service to all of our clients.

And finally, why the name "Pacific Design Guild"? There is a method to our madness!  A guild is "A formal association of people with similar interests".  And since we worked primarily with web designers, this seemed to fit.  Lastly the company was originally founded in a facility along side the Pacific Ocean in Santa Cruz, California so we borrowed the name "Pacific" (In the greater Santa Cruz area, it is typical to incorporate places into your company name - for example, the hard drive manufacturer "Seagate" is named similarly, 'Sea - Gate' since it is so near the ocean in Santa Cruz as well as The SCO Group the maker of the popular operating system 'SCO Unix' stands for the 'Santa Cruz Operation' and here's a little known fact - the router manufacturer "Cisco" is named after San Francisco and even carries the likeness of the Golden Gate Bridge in its logo).
